These High intensity discharge grow lamps produce a high lumen-per-watt efficiency. Our 1000w MH Grow Bulbs produce a colour spectrum that is somewhat comparable to the sun during Spring/Summer. They emit light in the blue and violet parts of the light spectrum and are generally used during the vegetative stage promoting stronger roots, tighter internode spacings and a general more compact growth.

We definitely recommend running 1000w MH lighting with very good ventilation. It is extremely important to keep these lights cool to prevent extreme temperatures in your grow area. MH lighting is extremely powerful, but heat can be combated via good ventilation.
